Job purpose
To manage inbound and outbound shipments to customers and subcontract suppliers.Ensuring complete and timely deliveries, strict control of items and accurate provision of logistics information.
- Pick and pack customer orders for despatch
- Interface with manufacturing and despatch admin to organise orders
- Manage work being sent to and received from external subcontractors
- Use the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to log onto jobs and record information
- Operate as known consignor trained, ensuring the safety and correctness of all shipments
- Produce weight and dimension data for air freight shipments
- Maintain a safe, clean and well organised workspace

Preferred qualifications and Experience

- Able to cope well with competing priorities and tight timescales
- Experience in a fast paced operational environment, working to exacting quality standards (desirable)
Shifts start at 6am and may move to rotating shifts which will incorporate shift pay. All overtime is paid at Time and a Half.
Profit Related pay is available after probation.
