Whether you’re starting fresh or changing careers, we’ll provide full City & Guilds Assured training at our training centre in the north east of England and pair you with a dedicated mentor to help you become a fully qualified White Goods Engineer – Field Based. No experience in white goods repair necessary, but we are looking for candidates with previous hands‑on mechanical or electrical experience and using tools.

What You Will Do

  • Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
  • Visiting customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on‑site
  • Recording and managing job details using our in‑house engineer software
  • Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
  • Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
  • Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
