Hourly / Fixed salary: £16.40 Monday to Thursday, 32 hours per week, shift pattern 6:30 am - 3 pm.

Fooditude is looking for a Kitchen Supervisor who is knowledgeable and passionate about all things food. The Kitchen Supervisor will work with the onsite catering team to run the breakfast and lunch service for a workplace restaurant for our client. The role requires a wide knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and attention to detail, and involves a daily changing menu with exciting dishes and cuisines. The kitchen supervisor will also contribute to our food waste project.

Responsibilities
  • Run the breakfast and lunch service for a workplace restaurant
  • Ensure high standards of kitchen quality, safety and hygiene
  • Lead the kitchen team and supervise the preparation of basic food items and a range of global cuisines
  • Participate in the food waste project and support sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a kitchen supervisory role, ideally within a high‑volume environment
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen best practices
  • Basic cooking and knife skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and people skills to lead the kitchen service and team
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
