We have a great opportunity for a full‑time Customer Service Associate to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract to cover an upcoming maternity leave. This role is based on site at our manufacturing facility in Kingswinford, West Midlands, and we expect the contract to last for 12 months. The purpose of the role is to ensure that a high standard of service is provided to our customers, whilst delivering optimum levels of efficiency and targets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally - delighting our customers with each interaction.
- Prioritising and scheduling the Field Service Engineers’ jobs (installs, services, breakdowns and reworks) and dealing with associated customer queries via phone and email.
- Effectively planning the engineers’ tasks, with a keen eye for detail and organisation.
- Maximising capacity to deliver targets and reduce windscreen time.
- Setting & optimising all jobs in the most efficient way possible.
- Liaising with sub‑contractors to schedule prep work in a timely manner.
- General associated admin tasks.
- Reducing aborts and pro‑actively replacing jobs where required on the day.
What you’ll need:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Computer literate i.e. Microsoft Word, Office and Outlook.
- Good geographical knowledge and application.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and external, written and verbal.
- Strong planning skills and the ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work on own initiative in a busy office environment and to strict deadlines.
- Driven to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Must be flexible, considerate and professional.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
