Overview
The Trainee White Goods Engineer is a field‑based role delivering full City & Guilds Assured training in the North East of England. It is a long‑term career path where you will learn to repair and maintain household appliances and work across the Highlands, Skye, Strathspey and Moray.
What You Will Do
- Repair and maintain household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and electric cookers.
- Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Use a mechanical or electrical mindset to troubleshoot and solve problems on‑site.
- Record and manage job details using our in‑house engineer software.
- Follow guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally.
- Continuously develop your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience.
