Nursery Assistant – Lunch Cover (11:00–15:00)
Hourly salary: £12.71
Permanent, Full‑time – 11:00–15:00, Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Duties
- Provide high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Observe and assess children’s development, identifying any areas of concern
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children’s individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organised, and well‑maintained at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well‑being of all children
