This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Representative to play a key role in expanding our market presence across our sandstone and porcelain paving.
JOB PURPOSE
We’re looking for a true sales hunter, someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, generating demand, and converting prospects into loyal customers. Working with builder merchants throughout the region, you’ll be responsible for promoting our product range, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Today, the role is approximately 70% new business development and 30% account management.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the Central and East region.
- Building strong relationships with builder merchants and key decision makers.
- Promoting and developing sales of our sandstone & porcelain paving.
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Creating and executing territory development plans.
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Representing GRS at customer meetings, trade events and product showcases.
- Monitoring market activity and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety.
