Are you a data-driven marketing professional who thrives on AI, automation, and digital sales? Telecom Acquisitions is scaling fast, and we need a hands-on Marketing Professional to lead 7 B2C broadband brands. We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Professional who thrives on owning major projects, shaping strategy, and delivering meaningful impact — this is a senior role with significant influence without a team of direct reports. This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, wants variety, and values influence over hierarchy.
You’ll join a marketing function where you will work alongside another Marketing Manager, with each leading their own portfolio of high-impact initiatives.
About Us
Telecom Acquisitions Limited (TAL) is one of the UK’s fastest-growing residential broadband groups — a holding company behind several well-known consumer brands serving more than 60,000 households nationwide. With over 26 years of heritage in the home-move and residential connectivity market, we specialise in making life easier for customers at the moments that matter most.
If you want to join a business where growth is real, decisions are quick, and your work directly shapes how thousands of customers experience essential home services, TAL is the place to do it.
The Role
This is a senior individual-contributor role with real commercial weight. You’ll own the digital marketing strategy and execution for Home Telecom — shaping how customers discover, evaluate, and choose us at every stage of the acquisition journey. You’ll sit within a small, high-trust marketing function and work closely with leadership, product, and operations to drive measurable growth.
If you want a role where your ideas get implemented, your results are visible, and your instincts are respected — this is it.
Digital Acquisition & Customer Journey
- Lead end-to-end digital acquisition strategy for Home Telecom across paid, organic and owned channels
- Design and continuously optimise the online customer journey - from first touchpoint to conversion - with a forensic eye on drop-off, friction, and intent signals
- Manage and evolve all digital assets (CMS) to ensure it converts, with clear messaging, sharp CTA's, fast load, mobile-first optimisation
- Own SEO strategy - technical, on-page, and content - to grow organic visibility in a competitive broadband search landscape
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, display) with a strong performance focus; brief or manage agency partners where applicable
Copywrite & Creative
- Write sharp, conversion-focused copy across all touchpoints: web, email, ads, landing pages, social, and campaign assets
- Translate complex products (broadband, energy, utilities) into clear, compelling language that speaks to real customer moments
- Brief and direct creative resource (designers, freelancers) to a high standard, maintaining brand consistency across Home Telecom's tone and visual identity
- Develop and test campaign concepts — from hypothesis to live — with creative confidence and commercial rigour
- Build and optimise email marketing flows and automated nurture sequences that convert prospects and retain customers
- Use CRM data to identify audience segments, personalise messaging, and improve lifetime value
- Work with the operations and customer service teams to align marketing messaging with the actual customer experience
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of B2C digital marketing experience, ideally in a subscription, utilities, telecoms, or comparable online-first environment
- Proven track record of owning and improving digital acquisition funnels - with real metrics to back it up
- Strong copywriting skills: you can write a great subject line, a punchy headline, and a converting landing page, and you know the difference
- Deep knowledge of the online customer journey and what it takes to move someone from awareness to purchase
- Hands-on experience with CMS, email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (GA4 essential)
- Comfortable with paid media strategy and briefing - you don’t need to be a PPC specialist, but you know how campaigns work and what good looks like
- Knowledge of One Touch Switching, PSTN migration, or the UK telecoms regulatory environment
Why this role is right for you
- Spot opportunities others miss and bring ideas to the table without being asked
- Think commercially - you connect marketing activity to revenue, CAC, and LTV, not just impressions
- Have high standards and low tolerance for "good enough" - you sweat the detail on copy, creative, and data
- Work with urgency and ownership - you don’t wait to be told what to do next
- Are energised by a fast-moving business where your impact is visible and your voice is heard
- Can flex between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without losing quality at either end
- Experience in the broadband, utilities, or financial services sector
- Familiarity with comparison and aggregator platforms (Uswitch, MoneySuperMarket, etc.)
- Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign or similar)
Why Join us
- Real ownership - you’ll lead your work from brief to result, with a high level of autonomy to make decisions
- Visible impact - in a business of this size, your output directly shapes customer numbers and brand perception
- Fast decisions - no 12-week approval chains; good ideas move quickly here
- A brand people genuinely like - strong Trustpilot ratings, loyal customers, and a product that delivers
- Collaborative culture - leadership that listens, a marketing function that values craft, and a business that invests in growth
- A supportive environment that values initiative and creativity
Plus 50% off broadband after successful completion of probation period – completely free after 2 years’ service
25 days holiday increasing up to a maximum of 30 days based on length of service – plus bank holidays and day off for your birthday
