Revenue Operations Specialist in High Wycombe

High Wycombe Full-Time No working from home possible
H

This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Administrator who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into a broader Revenue Operations environment.

You will take full ownership of our Salesforce platform and DealHub, ensuring both systems continue to support the needs of the business as we grow. You will work closely across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Services, acting as the link between our teams, processes and technology to help us work smarter, improve efficiency and get more value from our platforms.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in. You will have significant autonomy to identify opportunities, solve problems and make improvements across our systems, rather than simply responding to tickets or following established processes. We are looking for someone with a scrappy, agile and solutions-focused mindset, who is comfortable working with changing priorities and finding practical ways to meet business needs.

You will be the go-to person for Salesforce and DealHub, taking the platforms beyond day-to-day administration and helping shape how they support our wider commercial operation. You will need to understand not just how to make a change, but why it is needed, who it impacts and how it can improve the wider business.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be maintaining Salesforce.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and optimise Salesforce and DealHub, taking full responsibility for the platforms, configuration, automation, data quality, reporting and ongoing development.
  • Partner across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Services to understand business needs, identify opportunities and translate requirements into practical system and process improvements.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements, using your initiative to simplify processes, remove manual work, improve efficiency and get the most value from our commercial technology stack.
  • Develop joined-up reporting and insight, ensuring teams have accurate, meaningful data to understand performance, customer activity and the impact of their work across the wider revenue lifecycle.
  • Lead and support new technology and automation initiatives, including exploring and implementing AI tools and integrations that can improve how our team’s work.
  • Shape our Revenue Operations function, acting as the link between people, processes and technology while understanding the wider impact of changes across the business. As the role develops, you'll have the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and help define the future of Revenue Operations.

What are we looking for?

You will have an extensive Salesforce background and be confident operating independently across the platform. You will understand Salesforce administration inside out, but importantly, you'll also be interested in what sits around the platform – how data, processes, people and technology come together to support commercial performance.

You will be naturally curious and proactive, with a genuine desire to understand how the business works and how technology can help it work better. You'll be comfortable being given a problem rather than a detailed set of instructions and figuring out the best way to solve it.

You'll be commercially aware and confident working with stakeholders across different departments. You won't simply ask, "What do you want Salesforce to do?", you'll ask, "What are you trying to achieve, why, and what's the best way for us to get there?"

Our Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on Salesforce experience, with strong knowledge of configuration, data structures, automation, workflows, reporting and dashboards, and the confidence to manage and develop the platform with a high level of autonomy.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technology and process solutions, with strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple departments and the ability to understand the wider impact of system changes. Experience with DealHub or a similar CPQ/quoting platform would be highly desirable.

Other skills/qualifications – (Desirable, not mandatory)

  • Salesforce certifications, with additional certifications beyond Administrator highly desirable, alongside experience with Salesforce integrations, automation and optimisation.
  • Experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations or Business Systems, ideally with an understanding of the wider customer and revenue lifecycle.
  • Experience with DealHub and/or other commercial technology, including CPQ, reporting, automation and implementing solutions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Services.
  • Experience implementing new technology, AI tools or process improvements within a growing or fast-paced business, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual processes.
