Build cyber resilience that stands up to real-world pressure

We partner with the most advanced security platforms in the market and deliver high-impact events, campaigns and thought leadership that place Saepio at the centre of the UK cyber conversation.

The Role

We are seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to make their first or second move from a Big Four or Top 20 accounting practice into a broad and influential industry role.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in technical accounting, having trained within a recognised accounting practice, with significant experience in audit and financial reporting. They will be confident interpreting and applying accounting standards, managing complex accounting matters, and ensuring the business maintains robust financial controls and compliance.

The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. They will be comfortable challenging existing processes, building strong relationships across the business, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial insight and continuous improvement. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to broaden their experience and make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the month-end and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery, including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany allocations & management reporting
  • Produce monthly reports and finance information for senior management
  • Act as the main contact for external auditors, prepare the audit file, and manage the annual audit process.
  • Oversee VAT returns and corporate tax computations, working alongside external tax advisors.
  • Manage and drive aged debt collection
  • Review current processes and implement software tools or automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual data entry.
  • Work closely with all commercial and operational departments to support business activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day transactional finance activities when business volumes require extra support

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Three years PQE
  • Proven financial accounting and reporting experience, strong technical knowledge of FRS 102
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to manage and simplify complex data
  • Proactive & adaptable – has experience in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication - must be comfortable and effective communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business, from sales executives to senior directors.
  • IT reseller, cyber security or consultancy background
  • Experience of Xero and Syft

What do we offer?

  • Having a happy and healthy team provides the foundation for our energy and drive
  • 25 days annual leave plus additional half days for a ‘Duvet morning’ and your birthday (FTE)
  • BUPA Premium Health Insurance covering pre-existing conditions
  • Critical Illness Cover
  • Royal London Pension Plan
  • Strong learning and development culture to help you excel
  • International incentive trips for high performers
  • Fantastic social events e.g. Family Fun Day, Quarterly socials, Festive Party
  • Quarterly company-wide recognition events e.g. lunch at Michelin star restaurants

Please note: To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK on a permanent basis (e.g., Indefinite Leave to Remain or UK/EU Settled Status). Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
