Health & Safety Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Caterham.
You’ll play a key part in driving a positive Health and Safety culture across the business, helping to ensure our developments remain safe, compliant and aligned with best practice. Working across multiple sites, you’ll carry out inspections, audits and investigations, providing practical guidance and support to site teams, contractors and senior stakeholders to continually improve standards and performance.
As part of our Health & Safety team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Internal Audit & Compliance, Facilities, HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs and IT, as well as teams involved in land acquisition, pre-construction, construction, sales and customer care; offering expert advice and assurance at every stag, and helping to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to health and safety.
Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you’ll support and enhance our health and safety framework through activities including health and safety meetings, reporting system management, training delivery, contractor engagement, and the development of policies and procedures.

Skills & knowledge you'll bring
- TechIOSH membership as a minimum, preferably working towards (or already have) full CMIOSH membership
- Significant experience (approx 5-8 years) in a similar construction health and safety role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Self motivated and passionate about health and safety
- Comfortable working autonomously whilst assisting multiple teams
