Role Purpose
The Goods IN/Goods Out Co‑Ordinator is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, control and dispatch of materials across site/ the role ensures stock integrity, supports production continuity and maintains full traceability and compliance with company, retailer and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Book stock accurately into ERP/MRP systems in real time
- Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams on discrepancies or late deliveries
- Stock Control & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate stock records across all storage locations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, wastage, or stock losses
- Track and report key KPIs
- Support internal and external audits
- Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in stock control and booking goods in and out
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using ERP/MRP or stock management systems
- Good working knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and stock control processes
- Strong problem‑solving and organisational skills
- Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure correct documentation for all outgoing materials
- Maintain full traceability of stock movements
- Coordinate with production, transport, and planning teams to meet demand
- Operational Support
- Support production teams to ensure continuous material availability
- Work closely with planning and supply chain to prevent stock outages
- Contribute to improvements in stock processes and control
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS, food safety, and site procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit‑ready records
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environment
- Understanding of packaging or ingredient supply chains
- Knowledge of retailer or audit standards (e. g. BRCGS)
