We’re recruiting for an Accountant to join our city centre office. The role would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and assume more responsibility for greater reward. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and will join a supportive friendly team.
As an Accountant your role will involve:
- Being the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- The preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and various forecasts
- Proactively advising clients on the most appropriate in‑house software packages
- Allocating work to and reviewing the work of junior members of the team
- Taking on ad hoc analysis and project work
Direct client contact will be a feature of the role so candidates should be comfortable with and enjoy this aspect of work.
Requirements for the role:
- Experience using IRIS, SAGE and Xero would be beneficial.
