Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites - as a Gas Engineer.
Within the team, you will be expected to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations.
Position of the Gas Engineer:
- You will be responsible for performing various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types.
- General plumbing duties, repair works and minor installations of low temperature hot water and heating systems.
- To liaise with other staff and external contractors in a positive and cooperative manner to ensure the timely and proper completion of works.
- To ensure appropriate and timely completion of tasks, followed by submission of all relevant paperwork, job/time sheets and any necessary certification accordingly.
- To work with line manager and provide advice and information relating to any technical matters.
- Be commercially aware and be responsible for ordering required materials from suppliers in an efficient manner, following the company’s purchasing procedures.
Requirements:
- Trade related Qualification relevant for a Gas Engineer CCN1 (or COCDN1), COCN1 (or CODNCO1), CIGA1, CDGA1LL CCCN1, CCLP1
