Role Definition: As a Food and Drink Operative Apprentice at ABP, you will be part of an innovative and technically advanced environment, contributing to the efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing operations. This apprenticeship is aligned with the Level 2 Food & Drink Operative standard, providing you with a diverse and hands‑on learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a chilled manufacturing environment to produce high‑quality products to customer specifications.
  • Operate a variety of machinery and ensure correct labelling, weight and quality assurance documentation is completed accurately.
  • Report defects and address concerns, with training provided.
  • Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn a variety of manufacturing techniques that support continuous improvement of our operational functions.
  • You will also complete qualifications such as Food Hygiene and Food Safety courses, and work towards your Level 2 Food & Drink apprenticeship programme.
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English may also be supported.
