About the Hotel

This position is based at The Glencoe House Hotel, in Glencoe. Glencoe House, built by Lord Strathcona in 1896, sits majestically overlooking Scotland’s most famous Highland landscape. The stunning property has been lovingly restored and contains two distinctive concepts, both of which offer elegant but relaxed and sumptuous suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take accurate orders and serve food with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Confidently promote and upsell menu items, including daily specials, desserts, and drinks.
  • Share knowledge and passion for food and wine, including recommending pairings to enhance guest experiences.
  • Support smooth-running service by coordinating with the kitchen and ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
  • Handle guest requests and feedback with confidence and care.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine love of food, dining, and hospitality, a true restaurant enthusiast.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential, we’ll provide full training.
