Role Summary: As a Patient Booking Administrator, you will play a central role in non‑clinical functions, ensuring smooth patient experiences and contributing to the NHS waiting list relief.

  • Checking referrals from acute service teams or GPs for patient suitability within Medinet clinical units.
  • Contacting suitable patients to offer appointments in line with trust/health board policy, recording outcomes and escalating clinical queries to nursing staff.
  • Logging and administering all patient contact in accordance with required processes.
  • Preparing patient notes and historical health information in readiness for appointments, sometimes with short notice.
  • Accurately reporting appointment outcomes to support follow‑up clinical activities and billing from Medinet to Trust/Health Board clients.
  • Supporting audit activities, including checking historic patient outcome data and assisting with stock ordering of equipment and consumables.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement of care by identifying operational and policy‑related changes.

Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally within the NHS. Respiratory experience preferred; medical or healthcare experience also considered.
