The role
This is a key role within the Warehouse team, performing both Warehouse duties and Goods In Sampling duties. Key tasks will include:
- Receipt of goods from suppliers and customers
- Picking of products
- Put away deliveries and manufactures
- Keep working areas clean and tidy
- Safety checks on MHE
- Sampling and inspection of raw ingredients and finished products
- Supporting complaint investigations
- Filling in and maintaining necessary quality documents
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30
Hourly Rate: £14.02
Requirements
To be successful in this role, ideally, you will hold a current forklift/counterbalance certificate and/or have some previous warehouse experience. A VNA licence would also be advantageous. However, training will be provided. You must have the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to complete heavy lifting and manual handling activities
- A team player
- Good mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
