Accountable for technical aspects of our retail operation in conjunction with the Process and Specifications Manager, ensuring customer and legal expectations are consistently met in relation to Food Safety, Integrity and Product Quality.
Responsibilities:
- To develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the equipment capabilities at the site.
- To work as part of the site Process team ensuring that all NPD & EPD products are launched by fully utilising and adopting the ABP NPD/EPD Development Process.
- To support the site with the completion of actions to deliver specific process improvements to current practices and methodologies.
- To support the site with the completion of site trials to validate the suitability of new/novel ingredients.
- To support the site with trials on new/innovative equipment with the ability to measure and complete detailed accurate reports outlining the output of trials.
- To have a clear understanding of any packaging innovation and site trials.
- To support the sites with any process related issues that require a resolution.
- To ensure products specifications and product artworks are produced in a legal, safe manner which ensures they comply to the relevant customer and legislative requirements.
- To ensure products are developed in a manner that follows the ABP NPD Process and meets the required timescales and timelines which align with the customer expectations.
- To support the Process and Specifications Manager in planning, executing and presenting trials and results from these trials.
