The Role:

Vigilant Security are looking for driven individuals to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent contract.This position may suit someone who has previous experience within the Security, Hospitality, Customer Service Industry, or anyone with the right attitude and personality looking to start a new career path.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to carry out specific instructions set by the client.

SIA training will be provided to individuals that don’t currently hold a license.

The rate of pay is £13.45.

Key Tasks /Experience Required:

  • Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks in line with client assignment instructions.
  • To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
  • Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
  • Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
  • Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
  • Assist staff and visitors to sites.
  • Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
  • In addition to these functions’ employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is always road worthy (Daily Vehicle Checks).
  • Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
  • Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
  • Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift.
  • Complete schedules to record site visits.
  • Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
  • Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.

Schedule

  • 1900hrs to 0700hrs (12hrs)
  • 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern
  • Must be Flexible.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)
  • Professional, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player.
  • Experience with Mobile and key Holding dutiespreferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Consistently well presented in line with company/client standards.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time-management skill.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Clear, concise, and confident communication and administration skills.
  • Customer Care Awareness.
