Salary Details: Bonus potential

Hours: 45 hours per week with a 1 hour daily break, Mon – Fri (flexibility required to engage with drivers outside of standard office hours)

We’re looking for a Driver Workforce Recruiter to join The Silver X Group, who can work closely with our operational teams to support their driver resourcing needs. You will play a key role in reducing agency reliance across our companies, The Silver X Group and Bow Distribution & Warehousing Ltd, and will engage closely with external driver workforces to enhance and develop our EVP and ensure that we are an employer of choice for drivers. This is a hands‑on role where you can shape and take ownership of our recruitment strategy for driver recruitment and can develop and continuously improve best practice to ensure an engaging and friendly candidate experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with our operational and commercial teams to understand and align current and future resourcing requirements, developing a recruitment strategy that aligns to workforce planning strategies
  • Upholding recruitment best practice by continuously reviewing selection methods against industry best practice to ensure that our recruitment process remains competitive and delivers the right candidates
  • Coaching managers to uphold recruitment processes and ensure adherence to Company policy
  • Enhancing system capability to facilitate the recruitment process (Cezanne Recruitment)
  • Regular reporting on recruitment metrics
  • Working towards recruitment targets to deliver candidates in line with resourcing requirements
  • Managing the recruitment process from writing engaging job adverts, to sourcing and interviewing applicants
  • Working closely with the newly‑appointed Driver Trainer to book driving assessments and driver inductions and liaising with HR to onboard new starters
  • Regularly benchmarking roles and external roles to ensure the Company's EVP remains competitive

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous demonstrable recruitment experience as an internal or external recruiter (essential)
  • Experience recruiting within the logistics sector for driving, warehouse or operational roles (desirable)
  • Previous experience of using various selection methods to select the right candidates (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and identification of suitable recruitment approaches (essential)
  • Previous experience of managing several vacancies in a fast‑paced environment (essential)
  • Previous experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems (essential) - Cezanne Recruitment (desirable)
