We’re seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Driver to join the team at Hollybank. The role of driver is to provide a safe, comfortable and efficient driving and vehicle maintenance service to ensure that all service users are driven to the correct location as and when necessary. Orchard Court is our children’s residential home in Mirfield. It boasts seven accessible, en‑suite rooms, all of which are wheelchair adapted and fitted with tracking hoists. The home’s communal spaces feature hand‑picked artwork and an activity calendar that keeps children smiling and laughing. The driver will support this environment by ensuring timely and safe transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner to transport children and staff to scheduled locations.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any required repairs.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the team’s activity calendar by coordinating transport for outings and events.
  • Work independently while upholding the organization’s values of kindness, curiosity, confidence and positivity.

Essential Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in safe driving with a supportive and caring attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to a dynamic schedule.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
