S&B Utilities is currently seeking experienced Civils Operatives to join our team.
The Civils Operative is responsible for the hands‑on construction, maintenance, and repair of water network infrastructures, across our operations both regionally and nationally.
Role Overview
- Perform tasks safely and according to quality standards.
- Follow instructions to complete activities.
- Ensure high‑quality work.
- Assist in timely project delivery.
- Identify efficiencies and innovations.
- Show willingness to undergo industry and specialist training.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience: background in the water industry is preferred.
- Certifications: CSCS, EUSR Blue Card, Confined Space, EUSR Deep Excavations desirable, full UK driving licence.
- IT Skills: basic knowledge.
- Health & Safety: basic knowledge as a minimum.
- Soft Skills: problem‑solving, team collaboration.
- Personality Traits: confident, friendly, adaptable, safety‑conscious, tolerant, punctual, flexible.
