We’re currently seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team at Dean Group.

- Job Purpose
This role will support group‑wide FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business case analysis.
You will help build and maintain the financial infrastructure used across the organisation, ensure high data accuracy, and enable data‑driven decision‑making.
You will also play a key role in business partnering with the Chief Commercial Officer and the commercial team.
This position will be accountable for core FP&A processes, lead reporting improvements, and support data analytics and system implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Support coordination of the group wide budget and quarterly forecast cycles
- Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts, cashflows and long‑range planning models
- Develop scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses to support decision making
- Management Reporting and Performance Management
- Consolidate group financials and prepare monthly management reporting for business leaders
- Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, including variance analysis
- Highlight key performance drivers and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Financial Analysis and Business Partnering
- Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support commercial and operational decision‑making
- Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights to senior stakeholders and teams
- Work closely with and provide analytical support to functional teams across the business
- Data and Systems
- Ensure integrity, consistency and accuracy of financial data across the business
- Enhance and automate reporting tools, models, templates and recurring deliverables
- Build and maintain financial models that support analytics, reporting and planning
- Support adoption and optimisation of future financial systems and BI/reporting tools
- Preferred Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, and Commercial Finance with hospitality experience
- Degree level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business related studies
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills (Power Query / Power BI / Macros etc.)
- Experience with ERP, reporting, BI or planning tools is a benefit
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to finance and non‑finance stakeholders
- Comfortable working to deadlines, prioritising workload and managing multiple deliverables
- Proactive mindset, a sense of accountability, curiosity and a willingness to learn and improve
