We are currently Recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join our team based in Cobham.
As an Accounts & Audit Senior your role will involve:
- Preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and small groups.
- Assisting with and, depending on experience, lead audits for larger clients, including planning, fieldwork and completion under supervision.
- Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts, including posting journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation and payroll.
- Prepare control reconciliations and analytical review schedules.
- Working closely with managers and partners to support the delivery of accounts, audit and advisory assignments.
- Liaising with clients in a professional and timely manner, building strong working relationships.
- Supporting special projects for clients seeking finance, acquisitions or wider business advice.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
The Ideal Accounts & Audit Senior will:
- Hold a ACA, ACCA or a similar professional qualification.
- Have Audit experience with SME owner-managed businesses.
- Demonstrate experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- Be experienced using Sage, Xero and CCH would be advantageous.
