S&B Utilities is currently seeking experienced civils operatives to join our team. The Civils Operative is responsible for the hands-on construction, maintenance, and repair of water network infrastructures across our operations both regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks safely and according to quality standards.
  • Follow instructions to complete activities.
  • Ensure high-quality work.
  • Assist in timely project delivery.
  • Identify efficiencies and innovations.
  • Show willingness to undergo industry and specialist training.

Qualifications

  • Background in the water industry preferred.
  • Certifications: CSCS, EUSR Blue Card, Confined Space, EUSR Deep Excavations desirable; full UK driving licence required.
  • Basic IT knowledge.
  • Basic health & safety knowledge.
  • Soft skills: problem-solving, team collaboration.
  • Personality traits: confident, friendly, adaptable, safety-conscious, tolerant, punctual, flexible.
