While we've grown, our approach hasn't changed. We keep things straightforward and focus on advice that is practical, personal, and easy to act on.
If something's complex, we simplify it. That's where we add value.
The role
We're looking for a Business Manager to join our growing team in our Mayfair office.
This is a client-facing role where you'll manage a portfolio of clients, predominantly within the music industry, providing commercial, financial and accounting support tailored to their individual needs.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex financial matters while ensuring their day-to-day accounting, reporting and business management requirements are delivered to a high standard. You'll also support the development of junior team members, sharing knowledge and helping them build their skills.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and complete records are maintained
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and financial reports
- Record and review daily transactions including payments, receipts, income and expenses
- Prepare invoices, process payments and complete bank reconciliations
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities
- Analyse financial performance and investigate variances against projections
- Prepare full tour profit and loss accounts from contractual stages through to final reconciliation
- Manage show settlements from provisional through to final stages, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Liaise confidently with artists, agents, managers, promoters and external partners
- Support and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and development where required
- Identify improvements and contribute ideas to enhance processes and client service delivery
What you'll bring

You understand that clients need more than numbers. They need practical solutions, clear communication and someone who can simplify complex financial matters.
You're organised, proactive and take ownership of your work. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with a varied client portfolio.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience working within the music industry, ideally within practice, business management, touring finance or artist management
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting and financial analysis
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements

- Experience managing client relationships and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a willingness to improve processes and ways of working
