A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. We are also very flexible with this rota and we are happy to negotiate the shifts.

Working Pattern for 36 hours per week:

  • Week 1: Saturday: 8:00am – 8:00pm, Sunday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
  • Week 2: Tuesday: 8:00am – 8:00pm, Thursday: 8:00am – 8:00pm

Working Pattern for 25 hours per week:

  • Week 1: Monday 8-2pm, Friday 8-1pm
  • Week 2: Monday 8-3pm, Friday 8-3pm, Saturday 8-3pm, Sunday 8-3pm

Park Drive is home to two ladies and a man with diverse needs who each enjoy a range of hobbies and engage in their local community. We’re seeking team members who can share in these individuals’ passions and provide support with a keen sense of fun and motivation.

A Day in the Life of a Learning Disability Support Worker:

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, no two days are alike - much like the diverse individuals we support. Our approach revolves around person-centered planning, tailoring our services to suit the distinct requirements of each person we support. We are deeply committed to working towards positive outcomes for every individual, celebrating even the smallest milestones on their journey to personal growth.

As a Support Worker, you'll be equipped with comprehensive training to provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for transporting residents in their disability-adapted vehicles to appointments, social outings, and other activities. Safe and compassionate driving is a key part of delivering high-quality care and support, making this a vital aspect of the position.
