Advanced Proteins is the largest single site animal by‑product & pet food ingredient supplier in the UK. Based at the state‑of‑the‑art site in Cheddleton, Staffordshire, our specialist products provide an essential protein source for key suppliers within the pet food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Operate plant or machinery, including process lines/forklifts (Training will be provided).
- Report equipment faults.
- Ensure finished products are within specification.
- Monitor products & carry out basic sampling tasks.
- Drive different vehicles.
- Use lifting equipment.
- Perform confined space entries.
- Ensure Health & Safety guidance is followed.
Ideal applicants:
- Experience within a manufacturing or processing industry and used to working within a busy process environment.
- Forklift truck driving or plant experience would be advantageous (training will be provided for a suitable candidate).
- Ability to work well with others is essential.
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety.
- Ability to carry out tasks on a computer/hand held device.
Working hours: 42 hours per week (average), on a shift pattern of 3 on/3 off, Day/Night Shift. Starting rate of £14.01 per hour.
