About the Role

This position offers the best of both worlds, combining critical out-of-hours administration in our Carlisle Control Room with active field duties as a Mobile Security & Response Officer. Acting as the vital relief link for both teams, you will play a key role in keeping our clients, properties, and security officers safe across Carlisle and the wider North England region. Our team is the heart of everything we do. Key Responsibilities
- Control Room Operations & Administration
- Manage all incoming calls, prioritising and responding according to company procedures and industry requirements.
- Monitor CCTV systems and maintain accurate digital logs/reports of all incidents and occurrences.
- Conduct employee welfare calls and actively manage/resolve "dropped shifts" and short-notice absence cover.
- Act as the central communication hub, liaising directly with and dispatching our mobile response units.
- Mobile Security & Response
- Provide a professional, highly visible on-site security presence to deter criminal activity, theft, and antisocial behaviour.
- Conduct internal and external site patrols, as well as scheduled property openings and lock-ups.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency call-outs.
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to navigate Carlisle and surrounding areas.
Requirements & Qualifications
- SIA Licence is strictly essential.
- Driving Requirements: Must be over the age of 25 with a Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years (for fleet insurance purposes).
- Vetting: Able to provide a 5-year checkable work/education history to complete standard BS7858 vetting and screening.
- Flexibility: Fully flexible and dependable to work a varied shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends.
