About the Role
As a Rapid Responder, you will support the delivery of safe, high-quality home care services across the allocated Trust zone. Working closely with the Registered Manager and wider team, you will assist with launching new services, supporting hospital discharges, filling care packages, and providing emergency care cover when needed. This role requires flexibility, responsiveness, and a commitment to excellent care. You will also support care staff, ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed, and assist with essential operational tasks such as delivering PPE, care plans, and documentation to help maintain smooth service delivery.

Job Responsibilities
- Working exclusively with the Registered Manager as part of the Expansion Team
- Supporting the development and mobilisation of new home care services
- Providing cover and support across the allocated Trust zone as required
- Supporting the filling of new care packages and hospital discharges
- Undertaking emergency care cover where required
- Supporting staff shadowing and ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed
- Checking and collecting daily record sheets from clients’ homes
- Delivering care plans and log sheets to clients’ homes when required
- Delivering PPE and other essential documentation or supplies
- Supporting the care team to ensure services are delivered safely, consistently and to a high standard
- Travelling between clients’ homes, offices and service areas within the allocated Trust zone as required
The post holder may also be required to undertake additional duties to meet the needs and responsibilities of the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ previous homecare experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Full clean driving licence
- Access to a car for work purposes
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the allocated Trust zone
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and service needs
- Ability to work closely with the Registered Manager to support new and developing services
- Previous supervisory or senior care experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and professional approach to supporting clients and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in responding to changing operational priorities
- Experience supporting service growth, new care packages or hospital discharge pathways
