BJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors and proud of our reputation for excellence and attention to detail. Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites – as an Electrician. Within the team, you will be expected to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scope quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Carry out all planned maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
- Ensure that the site is kept in good order internally and externally, and to given specification and ensure timely completion.
- Work within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.
- Show a proactive approach to Health & Safety in the work environment and take the necessary steps to ensure risks are mitigated.
- Client facing, therefore maintaining high standards of customer care and workmanship.
- Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.
- Work from a call out rota when required.
Requirements
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works/tasks completed within KPI’s.
- Repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report (including minor works certification).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition.
- 2391 – Testing & Inspection.
