We are currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Administrator to join our team based in Birmingham.

Role Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all tax compliance work
  • Managing the day-to-day workflow and operation of the tax office ensuring deadlines are met
  • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns and property disposal returns
  • Submission of VAT returns
  • Preparing and submission of Making Tax Digital quarterly returns
  • Corresponding with HMRC
  • Acting as the key contact to clients to provide ongoing support and resolve queries
  • Providing support to junior staff, and reviewing junior staff work
  • Assisting senior managers with ad hoc tax queries

Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of UK taxes
  • Previous experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
