Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites - as an Air Conditioning / AC Engineer. Within the team, you will be expected to perform various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties listed below to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types.

Position of AC Engineer:

  • To carry out maintenance of relevant trade in domestic and commercial buildings
  • Servicing all AC units at prestigious commercial dwellings
  • Fault finding and repairs of air conditioning systems; VRV VRF's, split units, chillers, AHUs, humidifiers and dehumidifiers
  • Providing maintenance and inspection of all units on sites

Requirements for the AC Engineer:

  • A Current F gas category one certificate
  • NVQ level 2 in AC
  • Previous experience in same or similar role
  • Experience carrying out trade related maintenance, installation and fault finds
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works/tasks completed within KPIs
  • Understanding of Safety Regulations
  • Knowledge of different Maintenance Techniques
