To support the efficient operation of the finance function by processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments.
Key accountabilities- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding and adherence to approval workflows.
- Support regular supplier payment runs, ensuring compliance with financial controls.
- Responsible for the reconciling of supplier statements, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate supplier records.
- Act as the first point of contact for supplier and internal queries, providing timely and professional responses.
- Support month end activities including accruals, outstanding invoice reports and other AP related tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting system enhancements and process efficiency.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and actively support the continual improvement of the business management system (BMS) to ensure the goals and commitments of our HSEQS policy are consistently met.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing and the purchase to-pay-cycle.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain high standards.
- Working knowledge of finance and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
