Location: Conkers, Mirfield

Salary: £12.81 (days) £13.41 (nights)

Hours: 36 (3 x 12hr shifts) including alternate weekends.

Conkers is a seven-bedded home on our Mirfield site. It makes up part of the Meadows, with its wood-cladding and attractive landscaping. Each room is en-suite with shared kitchen and lounge areas. Conkers also boasts a music room, featuring iMuse technology, which helps people create pieces of art through soundwaves. All seven rooms lead out into a shared patio area, so that the people who live here can enjoy the surrounding garden areas.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Worker to join our team on a mixed days and nights rota. You will play a key role in supporting adults with varying needs to live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible. This role involves a combination of daytime support, evening routines, and overnight responsibilities (waking nights). The ideal applicant would have at least 6 months of experience in a care setting, you must be over the age of 18 to do night shifts.

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people, and our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy. We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
