We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting young adults. In this rewarding role, you will support vulnerable young adults to achieve positive outcomes, develop independence, and feel safe, valued, and empowered. You'll also play a key leadership role within the team, helping to guide and support colleagues in delivering high‑quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality care and support tailored to individual needs
  • Promote the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of children and young people
  • Act as a role model and mentor to support staff
  • Support with care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
  • Build positive relationships with young people, families, and external agencies
  • Assist in managing shifts and leading practice on a day‑to‑day basis
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records and reports
  • Encourage independence, life skills, and positive behaviour

Safeguarding and DBS Policy

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people. Our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy. We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS. However, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
