Hollybank Trust is seeking a compassionate, confident and values-driven Deputy Manager to support the day‐to‐day leadership and operational management of one of our adult residential services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning, sensory and physical disabilities. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive safe, dignified and meaningful care while supporting and developing a dedicated staff team.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‐to‐day leadership across a 7‐day rota in a residential care setting
- Support the Registered Manager with the overall management, quality and performance of the service
- Lead, motivate and develop an integrated team of support and social care staff
- Ensure personalised, person-centred support plans are implemented and reviewed
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation
- Promote best practice in equality, diversity, health & safety and data protection
- Build positive relationships with families, commissioners and external professionals
- Support service performance, quality assurance, and effective use of resources
