We’re looking for a Commissioning Home Manager to lead the opening of Hollybank Care Home, a brand-new luxury care home located in the desirable coastal village of Middleton-on-Sea, West Sussex. Hollybank Care Home is a purpose-built premium 66 bed service due to open in January 2027, offering exceptional all-inclusive residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a beautifully designed, hospitality-led environment.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a new luxury care home from the earliest stages of commissioning through to launch, occupancy growth and long-term operational success.

  • Salary up to £85,000 per annum
  • Up to 40% annual bonus linked to KPI achievement

The Opportunity

This role offers full site ownership throughout the commissioning process and requires a highly capable leader who can build a new service from the ground up. From recruitment strategy and operational mobilisation through to occupancy growth, regulatory readiness and establishing strong local reputation, you will lead every stage of the journey while ensuring the home launches successfully and is positioned for long-term commercial and operational success. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, embedding company culture and values from day one, establishing strong referral routes, building occupancy from zero and ensuring the home is fully prepared for its first CQC inspection cycle.
