Shift pattern: 10hr shifts, 9:15pm – 7:15am.
This role involves providing personal care to female service users. For reasons of dignity and privacy, it is necessary for the post-holder to be female. This requirement is permitted under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1, as a genuine occupational requirement.

Willow Court in Mirfield is a 19-bed home for adults, we are looking for some amazing new people to join their teams on a full or part-time basis. All of our roles include some weekend working, our night shifts are 9:15pm – 7:15am. You will receive a rota in advance that allows you to plan for your days off. Please indicate on your application whether you are applying for a full or part-time role.
When you start your role at Hollybank, we will ask you to do 1 – 2 weeks of shifts on days so that you can get to know our adults better. This will allow you to work closely with them, and develop a deeper appreciation of their likes, dislikes, routines, and communication methods. You will then start your night time rota, which will include additional shadowing and training to ensure you are fully equipped with all the tools and knowledge you need!
The role will be as varied as the people we support, but typical duties will include:
- Supporting adults to engage in meaningful activities.
- Supporting adults with their night-time routine, including personal care and bathing/showering.
- Keeping the home tidy and clean, and some laundry duties.
- Checking adults regularly throughout the night in line with their care plan.
- Ensuring each individuals’ care record is kept up to date and accurate.
- Team work and collaborative working.
