We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Change team and help shape how our systems, journeys and products develop. This role sits at the heart of change delivery, translating business needs into practical system solutions that support our long-term strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll work across the business to improve, enhance and develop our systems, including our Policy Administration System and third-party platforms. Your focus will be on making sure systems truly support our people, advisers and members.
- Acting as the link between business teams and system solutions
- Understanding and improving our current IT estate
- Supporting business-led system change and enhancements
- Improving member and adviser journeys through system and process review
- Supporting future product builds and online functionality
- Contributing to strategic change initiatives with senior stakeholders
- Supporting system and UAT testing
- Planning and supporting project and workstream activity
- Producing and improving MI and reporting
- Supporting cost benefit analysis and change impact assessment

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong systems-focused analysis experience, ideally within financial services. You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Experience working with core systems and third-party platforms
- Strong requirements gathering and functional specification skills
- Experience supporting system change and testing
- Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query and analyse data
- Financial services experience, ideally income protection or intermediated markets
- Experience working in agile and waterfall environments
You’ll also be:
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
- Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Pragmatic, collaborative and solutions-focused
- Comfortable working with change and ambiguity
