Senior PLC Software Engineer (Siemens / TIA Portal Specialist) Telford, Nottingham, UK (Hybrid) | Industrial Automation Holloway Control Systems is growing and we are looking for a Senior PLC Engineer who is highly proficient in Siemens S7-1200/S7-1500 and TIA Portal to join our expanding team of automation experts. What You Will Be Doing Developing Siemens TIA Portal PLC and HMI software Working on conveyors, automated warehouses, robotics, machinery and bespoke automation systems Commissioning, testing, optimisation and advanced troubleshooting Collaborating with a growing multi-disciplinary engineering team Supporting junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices What We Are Looking For Expert-level Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1500/S7-1200) capability Strong understanding of Profinet, Profisafe and safety systems Good grounding in modern software principles, including OOP Experience in automation sectors such as food, FMCG, warehousing, Logistics, packaging, automotive or similar Strong problem-solving skills and real-world commissioning experience Desirable Skills Experience with industrial robotics (ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa, KUKA etc.) SCADA or data acquisition systems Additional PLC platforms such as Beckhoff or Allen-Bradley Why Join Us Be part of a growing team of industry specialists Work on advanced automation and warehouse systems projects across the UK and Europe Hybrid working and clear career progression Opportunity to work with HELIX, our in-house Warehouse Control System used in next-generation smart warehouses To apply, please send your CV to james@hollowaycontrols.co.uk or contact us directly.
