We are a leading international, independent real estate consultancy looking for a Senior or Associate level M&E Engineer to join our Operational Engineering team based in London. The role will support the continued growth of our commercial office and industrial projects across the Midlands and South West, delivering expert technical support and project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Undertake dilapidation reports, producing pre‑acquisition and disposal technical due diligence reports.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance CAPEX reports.
- Manage projects and act as project lead.
- Contribute to innovation and continual improvement of services and products.
- Support wider teams with technical support and maintenance management duties.
- Meet target KPIs on WIP management including HIW.
- Business development and client care awareness.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant engineering degree, inclusive of building services modules or equivalent education/practical experience.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Client‑facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience within a consultancy or M&E project engineering background.
- Flexible and willing to cover a variety of work and travel to site across regions.
- Knowledgeable in statutory compliance, regulations and standards relating to operational/existing building services.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, ventilation systems (including VAV, heat recovery), heating systems (including heat generation, distribution, terminal unit types).
