Are you looking for a Senior Chartered or Associate Building Surveyor position within a leading international, independent real estate consultancy with an all together different approach?
We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and enthusiastic Chartered Building Surveyor to join our London based Technical Due Diligence team after another fantastic year across our real estate sectors. We are looking for someone keen to join a strong, well resourced team and support the growth of the TDD offering in the London/South East region.
This opportunity would be a great step up for an experienced Senior Chartered Building Survey or existing Associate with an interest in pursuing TDD as specialty. It would suit a multi-skilled or generalist building surveyor and you\’ll be able to pick up varied instructions as desired as well, such as contract administration, dilapidations, projects, party wall, defect surveys etc.
Main Responsibilities
- Working closely alongside our Director to deliver a variety of technical due diligence instructions across a range of sectors (industrial, office, retail, leisure, residential etc.)
- Acting as Project Lead, owning instructions from start to finish whilst maintaining excellent standards of client care and stakeholder management
- Opportunity to line manage graduates within the London office, mentoring and delegating work to improve their skills and support them to take on workloads effectively
- Actively develop the Hollis Brand and project services locally to reach new business, build a network of clients/stakeholders and play a key part in growing our London region
- Hitting the ground running in service delivery including TDD, surveys, dilapidations and residential refurbishments as desired
What We Are Looking For
- Experienced carrying out building surveying instructions within a variety of real estate sectors including commercial and residential
- MRICS Building Surveyor
- An interest in focussing on technical due diligence as a specialty
- Excellent communication skills, report writing abilities and confident with presenting ideas and feedback
- Willing and able to travel to site in the London region
