Introduction
New Zealand event rider is based just outside Godalming.
We are a small fun team of three offering a fourth member to join the team and be shown the ropes into a professional international event yard.
About the Employer
A New Zealand International event rider. We are currently working towards building a team of horses, owners and sponsors to represent New Zealand.
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will be put through their learning modules to the highest standard with lots of opportunity to gain experience and training on and off the yard at competitions.
General yard duties to include
- Mucking out
- Turning out/bringing in
- Feeding/hay/water
- Tacking up
- Tack cleaning
- Hacking for right candidate
You must have experience and ideally have looked after your own horse. There is the possibility to bring your own horse for the right candidate.
Training Outcome
Possibility of progressing to the Level3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship on completion of Level2.
