Factory Hygiene Operative

Ability to use own initiative and work within strict deadlines.

• Good organisation skills and attention to detail with ability to follow cleaning plans and schedules.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Good working knowledge of hygiene and health & safety standards.

• A flexible attitude to work

Fork lift truck licence would be desirable.

HOURS OF WORK: Monday – Thursday 6am-2pm

Friday 6am-12:30pm

A vacancy has arisen for a Factory Hygiene Operative to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained on site.

The main duties will include:

• Emptying waste bins and skips.

• Day to day cleaning of toilets, hand wash sinks, walls and floors

• Working at height from ladders, and platforms

• Working in enclosed and temperature controlled areas e.g. freezers

• Working with and dispensing chemicals

• Using mechanical equipment such as compactors and floor scrubbers
