Role Overview
Holland Park School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, knowledgeable and highly motivated Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities faculty from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school which has undergone significant transformation and is committed to delivering an exceptional education for all students.
The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject expertise. They will be passionate about their subject, committed to high academic standards, and able to deliver engaging lessons which inspire curiosity and a deep understanding of the world.
Main Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 teaching available depending on experience.
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons which support excellent progress and outcomes for all students.
- Create a positive and purposeful classroom culture built on high expectations and strong routines.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies and departmental expectations.
- Adapt teaching effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including disadvantaged students and students with SEND.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Geography curriculum and wider Humanities provision.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school.
- Contribute fully to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities, intervention and pastoral systems where appropriate.
- Uphold the values, policies and expectations of Holland Park School and United Learning.
