Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Motor technician and Auto Electrician professionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be reliable, fully qualified tradespeople who take pride in their work and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motor Mechanic: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles; Carry out engine repairs, brake and clutch replacements, suspension work, and general servicing; Conduct inspections and road tests; Maintain service records and complete job cards accurately; Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workshop cleanliness.
  • Auto Electrician: Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical faults and systems; Install and service vehicle electronics (e.g. alarms, lighting, audio, sensors); Work with alternators, batteries, wiring, and ECUs; Use diagnostic scan tools and electrical testing equipment; Ensure all electrical work is completed to high standards.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical or Auto Electrical (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Air-conditioning service and repair licence.
  • Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles.
  • Experience with European or Japanese vehicle models.
