Job Description:
We are seeking a Privacy and Compliance Analyst to join our team. The Privacy and Compliance Analyst will support firm-wide projects and initiatives related to data protection and privacy laws, compliance functions, client and third-party risk assessments, and research evaluation.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Support the firm\’s data protection initiatives and processes.
- Conduct risk assessments, including client risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, and AI assessments.
- Conduct investigations, inquiries, and remediation efforts.
- Provide analysis and support for privacy and compliance initiatives such as privacy by design, data minimization, access management, and protection of personal information.
- Develop and assist with corrective action plans.
- Monitor and audit processes involving personal information.
- Resolve internal audit findings and ensure operational processes comply with regulations.
- Create and maintain procedural documentation for firm processes.
- Participate in data protection controls strategy and manage privacy and security controls to meet regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a resource to cross-functional teams to identify, improve, and monitor risk mitigation processes.
- Assist with administrative and operational privacy and compliance functions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iManage.
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
- Knowledge of data protection principles.
- GRC experience.
- Understanding of AI privacy issues.
- Law firm experience.
- Certifications such as CCEP, CIPP, CIPM, or similar.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Moderate to advanced keyboard usage.
