We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND teacher to join our Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP) at Holland Junior School, preparing to open a second class in September 2026 alongside the existing Maple Class. The successful candidate will work alongside the SEND Co‑ordinator, experienced SEND teachers and teaching assistants, additional SEND unit teachers across the Trust, and our Academy Central Head of SEND. The salary for this role includes an additional SEND allowance. We are happy to consider part‑time or full‑time working patterns – please indicate your preference in your personal statement.

Qualities and Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs.
  • Solid foundation in autism‑specific strategies.
  • Prior experience working in SEND settings (newly qualified teachers without SEND experience are not considered).
  • Team‑player with a long‑term commitment to supporting children with SEND.
  • Aspirational and reflective regarding pupil progress.

Working Conditions

Start date: September 2026. The successful candidate will be required to attend INSET days on 27th and 28th August.
